Etude House : 'I Need You' Alphabet Mask (Tea Tree!) review

Annyeong yeoreobun :*

Last night, i finally wore one of my masks and it was Etude House's Tea Tree! alphabet mask sheet :D I chose to try out this one first because i was having terrible acne problems and i thought this one seemed like the best that could help with it.

What the mask sheet looks like .

The back, where its got instructions and explanations on how to use and what this mask is for. Lots of Korean, im fine with it since i do understand some Korean but there is the bit of English you need and some pictures for those who are unfamiliar with masks.

Ingredients :

Water, Butylene Glycol, Peg-8, Phenoxyethanol, Peg-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Polyphosphorylcholine Glycol Acrylate, Arginine, Malaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium Edta, Fragrance, Glycerin, Nelumbo Nucifera Leaf Extract, Prunus Mume Fruit Extract, Lactic Acid, Citric Acid, Absorbic Acid

(Quite dissapointed that the Tea Tree extract isn't at least one of the first five on the list)

Product claims :

This mask sheet contains extract from the clean herb, Tea Tree (Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Extract) .

1.Will sooth your sensitive skin.
2.Helps with troubled skin.
3.Leaves a fresh complexion.
4.Provides you with also a clean complexion

Directions :

1.Apply toner to skin after cleansing.
2.Remove mask from pouch and place it on your face carefully.
3.Remove mask from your face after 15~20 minutes
4.Massage the remaining solution lightly into your skin.

Soon as I opened the packet, i saw lots of product/essence in it.. This part of it pleased me. I love me some lots of extra stuff <3 Because of this (the fact that it has a good amount of product) the mask sticks well to my face, but still not as well as some other masks i've tried like Dermal's or The Face Shop's face masks. Of course, if i walk around it doesn't just fall straight off my face but i do feel it ever so slowly slipping down bit by bit and that makes me anxious wearing it. Guess still, no one would ever wear it while walking around long enough for it to completely slip full from their face anyway, so thats alright. Plus, I do prefer to lie in bed and relax or play with my phone while wearing these masks, so a mask that doesn't stick too well ain't bother me much :) Therefore to round up this part of the mask, it is neither a pro or a con for me. But you guys can judge this by yourself, wether its alright with you or not ~

The size of this mask is perfect for my face size,in which i have a normal sized round shaped face. As usual, there definitely are a few bubbles created by uneven placement that i had to flatten but like I said, its usual so no biggie. I found a con here though! :( At least for me.. the holes provided for the eye and mouth area are kinda big for me. I had to squish some areas of the mask together to make those holes smaller. Most people i think, probably won't mind it but since i'm a *sigh* perfectionist, in which i hate anything being even the slightest bit messy soo >,<

As for the smell of this mask, it doesn't have such a special or amazing smell.. Just the typical soap(?) -ish natural smell most not very scented masks smell like. I could go just about alright with this since its better than really really strong chemical fragranced products ~

While wearing the mask, it gave me a very minty cold and refreshing feeling on my face that i totally loved ^^ ❤️ I took the mask off after about 20 minutes when it feels like its already completely dried up. I gently rubbed any remains of essence on my face to be absorbed, then i attempted to dab on the extra essence thats in the mask's pouch onto my face as i've always loved to do, but shamefully i got quite too excited at the look of much more product that I accidentally spilled some 😂 As if to proove that there is just so much more of the essence , there was like a little puddle on my floor because of the spill. No joke! Yeah, it was just a really lil puddle but still amazing enough to show that the extra product could actually be enough to form a teeny puddle 😁 Next time, i surely won't waste again!

As for the effects of this mask, the after feeling was nice. It left my skin feeling hydrated, moisturized, softer and cleaner once everything has been really absorbed. There was a slight stickiness left but its very light and bearable for me. I did not have to wash my face after wearing this mask, unlike a few other masks have made me due to uncomfortableness :(

Waking up the next day, i found that all my pimples from before are all smaller and almost gone! Great! Buuuuut, reaching half of the day.. new pimples appeared! :'( My face is really acne prone though and it does get pimples a lot so i don't think its the masks fault at all, but still i was expecting the mask to at least help with my acne problem for one full day T.T

Summing my experience up, this mask works good and does just as it claims. But it doesn't help long enough at all for my skin type.

Pros :

-Lots of product
-Perfect size
-Gives a really fresh feeling while wearing
-Does as claimed

Cons :

-Tea tree is not one of the main ingredient though that's the masks supposed priority
-Holes for the eyes and mouth are too big
-Helps with skin trouble only right after wearing and a few hours later

And that is that ;) Please be reminded that i am not sponsored and everything here is only based on personal opinion. Everyone else must have their own unless they have the exact thinking as me! (Which would be kinda awesome lol sorry , out of topic) Please forgive me if i made any mistakes in this review and feel free to correct me in any way if you feel like it :)

Have a great day! ~~

First ever skincare parcel ~

Annyeong yeoreobun :3

Here to announce that.... my first ever parcel that contains skincare product (excluding the face masks) has arrived ! Take a look at what i got .

Top, from left : [Nature Republic] Skin Smoothing Blackhead Removing nose patch , [Secret Key] Black Out pore minimizing pack . Bottom, from left : [Skinfood] Premium Tomato whitening sleeping pack (Sample) , [Skylake] Oriental Herbs cleansing powder (Sample) , [Nature Republic] Collagen Dream 70 essence (Sample) , [Its Skin] Power 10 Formula Propolis (Sample) , [Etude House] Collagen Eye Gel patch

I bought these from a local k-cosmetic online store . If you're from Malaysia, check this store out too (if you don't know it already) , My Korean Cosmetics Houze on Facebook ;) They have amazing service, low prices, fast shipping straight from Korea without any damage to the products sold ~ The unnie who owns it also loves giving free samples! All the samples I got here are the proof to that statement :D (Please take note that this is just my opinion, other customers might have their own ,and i am not sponsored) . Opening my package, i'm by far completely stoked to try out the Nature Republic essence sample since i just bought the mask which is from the same Collagen Dream line and also to try the Skinfood sleeping pack cause that has always been on my 'really want to try' list >,<

Anywaysss , back to what I actually bought, which are the three irems that aren't samples. The NR Skin Smoothing Blackhead Removing nose patch (7 patches that comes in a simple yet adoraaable box) is to hopefully help with my chronic nose blackheads war T_T The Secret Key pack is obviously for the same reason.. While the EH eye patch (bought it in a set of 5 patches) is for my horrible conditioned under eye :'D Its drooping like i haven't slept in forever and going black like a panda! I pray all the products i bought shall help with the problems i'm facing.

If you have the same problems, and wanna know if these will work, then wait up for my review once i finish 'em all up! Yup, gotta wait that long.. that way i can actually judge it properly since i've used it as much as i'm supposed too.. yeah?

Looks like for now, i'll be going :) Annyeongg ~

Face Masks ❤️

Annyeong yeoreobun ;)

So i got 9 new masks for myself a few days ago and i'm extremely happy since i love masks too much for my own good haha ~ I haven't tried any of these masks yet up til now. Once i do, I might do a review of all or some of them if i find the time but i probably won't if i can't but hopefully we will get the first possibility :)

I got 4 of The Face Shop masks at one of their stores nearby since they were having a promotion . The one's i got were all their Real Nature masks ..

From left : Acai Berry,Pomegranate,Avocado,Lemon

I wanted to purchase more but sadly i didn't bring much money for them since my trip to the mall where this TFS store was at was totally unplanned :( Still happy though! ^^

The day after i bought these Face Shop masks , or two days later , i don't remember (sorry about the bad memory) , 5 other masks arrived, which i had randomly ordered online for fun (from another random girl like me,not an official online seller) since she had them for ready stock and needed to ship them away a.s.a.p ~

One of them is from Nature Republic and the rest are from Etude House . The Nature Republic mask i got is part of NR's Collagen Dream line while the Etude House masks are from their I Need You! Alphabet set . They have the masks from A to Z and an extra heart mask. Extream cuteness, i know. >3<

Top, from left : Tea Tree, Noni, Lemon, Aloe . Bottom : Collagen Dream

I've always wanted to try an Alphabet mask from EH so the feeling of exitement in me is beyond imaginable :D While the Collagen Dream mask was just an addition to create a round number for my payment (idk why i just like doing that) but who knows it might work wonders!

To round it up, Will be wearing one of these 9 masks by the end of this week and hopefully, i'll be able to do a review ^^ Ciao and annyeong 😘

Introduction to Me !

-- Quite personal questions .

-Who am I ?

No one special . Just a random teenager who's so into everything Korean especially the music and beauty products ~ Oh and also a huge fan of a band known as Before You Exit , a Youtube gamer called PewDiePie and the most amazing Taylor Swift :*

-How old am I ?

Let's keep that a secret shall we ? :) But, as i mentioned above.. I am a teenager still! That doesn't mean i'm not knowledgable enough too ^^

-Where am I from ?

Malaysia .

-- Since this blog revolves mostly around my addiction to Korean Cosmetics so ..

-Favorite k-beauty brands ?

Of course, Etude House comes first <3 Then Shara Shara,Tony Moly,Nature Republic and The Face Shop.

-How long have i been into korean cosmetics ?

Its been a year ! But i've never gotten the chance to buy anything until a month ago T,T Sad , i know .  I've only been able to read online reviews and go online window shopping for the last year but finally, my chance has reached me and i'm so happpyyy ~

-Skin type ?

This might help, once i start posting reviews i guess . I've had fair skin since birth and i have a medium type skin, doesn't easily get oily and definitely not dry but my nose and forehead constantly go through terrible acne breakouts. Fyi, i also have a huge blackhead and whitehead problem like seriously , its so horrible , my heads are completely obvious no matter what I do !

-Products i'm most interested in ?

I'm not such a makeup fanatic. I'm more into looking after my bare skin because i prefer going out as natural as I can . I don't hate makeup, in fact i love it but not as much. Not like I never wear makeup but even if I do, its only the light type of mascara, thin eyeliner, some pact powder on my face and a swipe of my lipbalm or tint. Therefore, in this blog you will be finding some makeup hauls and reviews and stuff but there will surely be more posts regarding products like masks, face cleansers,blackhead/acne enemies and face care related to be found :)

( These are the only questions I can think of for now . Will update whenever i get more ideas! Or if by any chance i actually have readers to ask me some questions✌️)
